Children & Youth

Children & Youth

We are committed to empowering families to pray together, read the Bible, and have honest conversations about faith in their homes. Every child in the congregation is given an age-appropriate Bible that they can keep and read with their families. Bibles are given during worship in September.

Wednesday and Sunday faith formation classes provide opportunities for children and youth to learn and grow in their faith together with caring adult leaders. We offer several different programs and activities for children and youth. Our regularly scheduled activities include:

Sunday School: Students in Preschool through 6th grade meet in between the services from September-May to study Scripture and take part in some fun service projects!

Wednesday Night Classes: Following our Wednesday community meals, students in Preschool through 6th grade meet upstairs from 6:00-6:30pm to learn Bible lessons through videos with the Whirl Kids, Scripture readings and fun activities!

After Hours: Students of all ages are invited to join Zach between their regular Wednesday evening activities from 6:30-7:55 p.m. for a time of fun games and fellowship. After Hours provided kids with a fun activities to do in between everything going on Wednesday nights. Some games we have done so far include: Apples to Apples, Fluxx, Exploding Kittens and Scategories. We meet in Room 307!

Breakfast Club: Students from 6th to 12th grade meet outside the youth room at 9:40am each Sunday and head as a group to Grounds for Celebration (located directly in front of the church). There, students have a chance to get some coffee (or whatever surgery and caffeinated beverage you prefer), and catch-up on everyones’ week before the group dives into a time of Bible study. Discussion is encouraged and questions are welcomed as we dive into Scripture and apply its teachings to modern times and our everyday lives!

C.H.A.O.S. (Christians Hanging Around on Sundays): High school students are invited to come Sunday nights during the school year from 6-8pm. We start out every night with a dinner together, and then have a period to discuss and study our topic/scripture for the week. We close each evening with a big activity or game. We also have special nights for holidays and church dates throughout the year!

We offer various other opportunities for youth study, worship and fellowship throughout the year. See below for all of our upcoming Children & Youth Activities!
