Music is a passion in the life of our congregation. No matter your musical talents or experience, all are welcome to join us and share in the various musical ministries we offer! All our musical groups share their gifts at worship at various times throughout the year!
Alleluia Choir: Alleluia Choir, our adult choir here at WHLC, welcomes anyone who is interested in singing! Rehearsals are from 7:00-8:00 on Wednesday evenings, and the choir sings at three services per month. Director Jim Cacciatore would be happy to answer your questions — email@example.com.
Windsor Bells: Windsor Bells rehearses on Wednesday evenings from September – May and plays in worship at least once a month. Contact Marilyn Harvey with questions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Windsor Brass: The Windsor Brass is an ensemble made up of trumpets, French Horns, trombones, and tuba. Euphonium/Baritone players would also be a welcome addition to the group. The Windsor Brass is a mix of adults and students that rehearse every Monday night during the school year from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m at the church. They generally play at both church services on Sunday mornings once each month. They play a wide variety of music including Canadian Brass music, hymns, worship music, great classical works for brass quintet, jazz music, and much more. The group is directed by Jon Lewis. Auditions are not necessary for the group. Instead, please contact Jon Lewis (email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org) if you are interested in joining the group or have questions.
Saturday Worship Ensemble: This ensemble leads our weekly Saturday service, and one Sunday each month for our Alternate Worship Weekend. The ensemble offers a different spin on traditional worship, featuring many modern and alternative worship influences. Many different vocal talents and instruments are applied-people off all ages and musical talents are welcome to join!
