Zach serves as Director of Youth and Family/Congregational Life Coordinator and joined the staff in 2018. He graduated from Carthage College with a degree in history and pursued a calling in youth ministry after leading Carthage’s Youth Ministry team for two years. Zach credits both his Lutheran upbringing and his experiences with various Christian groups in college and abroad as having a powerful effect on his relationship with Jesus. Aside from Youth Ministry, Zach’s always up for creating new games inside the church space, along with finding ways to work with other churches & groups in the area. Zach considers himself a Star Wars nerd, loves to run, is a fan of the Denver Broncos and his hometown Fighting Illini, enjoying reading western novels, and still occasionally collects Legos.
