Zach serves as the church’s Director of Youth and Family/Congregational Life Coordinator and joined the staff in 2018. He graduated from Carthage College with a degree in history and pursued a calling in youth ministry after leading Carthage’s Youth Ministry team for two years. Zach credits both his Lutheran upbringing and his experiences with various Christian groups in college and abroad as having a powerful effect on his relationship with Jesus. Aside from Youth Ministry, Zach has a passion for traditional and modern forms of worship and has interest in mingling the views of ecumenism and evangelicalism within churches. Zach considers himself a Star Wars nerd, is a fan of the Denver Broncos and his hometown Fighting Illini, loves reading Louis L’amour Westerns and avidly collects LEGOS.
