WHLC Vacation Bible School 2019: Who Is My Neighbor?

WHLC Vacation Bible School 2019: Who Is My Neighbor?

We are so excited to announce our VBS for Summer of 2019! Our Daycamp will return from July 22nd-July 25th this summer, with the theme: “Who is My Neighbor?” Using the tale of the Good Samaritan, the theme focuses on loving and serving our neighbor with the love of Jesus! Tied to ELCA World Hunger, the theme offers Scripture verses for each day, along with a story from a church in a different country World Hunger is working alongside!

We would love to have your child join us for all the fun during VBS! A digital sign-up can be found below, while printed copies have been placed in the Narthex and can be returned to church office once filled out. Our daycamp will follow the schedule of last year, running from 9:00am-12:00pm for Pre-K thru Kindergarten, and 9:00am-3:30pm for 1st thru 6th grade. Lunch will be provided, and kids will have fun with the theme and each other through crafts, games, music and more. VBS is completely free, and all are welcome! Invite a friend or two, and join us as we praise the Lord, have some fun and learn how to serve the neighbors in our community!
