Worship

Everyone is welcome to participate in the life of our congregation.

Worship is central to who we are as God’s people and followers of Jesus. Our worship services are filled with uplifting music, gospel-centric preaching, and Christ’s presence in Holy Communion. We hope you join us this weekend!

Our current services are on Sunday mornings (in-person & online) at 8:30am & 10:45am.

What you can expect

While we use a variety of styles and music, we consistently follow the ancient pattern of Christian worship:

Gathering, Word, Prayer, Meal, Sending

We believe that God is present when we gather and is pleased with the prayers, songs, words, and gifts that we offer. In worship, God graciously fills us with good things so that we may be good news for the world.

Scripture readings come from the Revised Common Lectionary, a three-year cycle of Bible texts used by Christians in North America, which also connect us to themes of the church year. Lectionaries have been used since the earliest church, one of many practices that keep us grounded in the faith of our forebears.

All baptized Christians are welcome at the Lord’s Table when we celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion. Children who are not yet communing may come forward for a blessing. Gluten-free wafers are available upon request from the server.
