Youth News
Christians Hanging Around On Sundays is our weekly chance for 9th – 12th grade students to learn, serve, and have fun with each other.
All senior high youth are encouraged to bring their Bible and their brain to Bible study on Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. We meet at Starbucks on 73rd St. & Buffalo Road (across from Wal-Mart).
Sunday School
PreK – 6th Grade - we have started using the exciting Akaloo curriculum on Sunday mornings. Gather at 9:30 am in the music room on the 3rd floor for opening and then go with your teacher to the classrooms.
7th & 8th Grade - meet in the orange “maze room” at 9:30 am, grab a beanbag chair and talk about how you can live out your faith in meaningful ways.
9th – 12th Grade - breakfast club meets in the youth room at 9:30 am for food and casual conversation.
Akaloo Wednesday
There is something for everyone on Wednesday nights, including:
5:00 – Confirmation for 5th – 8th grade students
5:30 – Celebration Choir for 2nd – 6th grade children
6:00 – COMMUNITY MEAL
6:30 – Cherub Choir for PreK – 1st grade children
6:30 – Akaloo Juniors for 2nd – 4th grade children
7:00 – Akaloo Beginners for PreK – 1st grade children
Praise & Play meets on Sundays 9:30 am in Fellowship Hall west. All children up to age 4 and their caregivers are welcome to attend.
